learned how to cook was when I was 12 years old. My family came here in the States then and I tell you, it was total culture shock for me. We grew up having maids do everything for us, so when my mom told me to cook, I was like, "huh?". Well, I'm so glad my parents decided to make that big move. Because now, I love to cook and I'm quite good at it.
Wanna come over for some gourmet cooking some time? :)

Ooh where did you live before the US then? I have worked with Asian girls and they have had similar experiences, then when they go back on holiday to the servants again they feel uncomfortable because they have got out of that way of life.
And pity I can't take you up on your offer of dinner, I'm pretty certain your cooking will be better than mine!
